What is the expected release date for Ao Ashi Season 2?
Since January 5, 2015, Ao Ashi has been captivating readers in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits magazine. A spin-off, Ao Ashi Brother Foot, by the same author, graced the pages from July 12, 2021, to August 30, 2021, in Big Comic Spirits. The anime adaptation announcement for Spring 2028 was made on May 28, 2021, and it was brought to life by the talented team at Production I.G. The series premiered on NHK Educational TV2 on April 9, 2022, with Crunchyroll securing broadcasting rights outside Asia.
While the future of Ao Ashi remains uncertain, the show’s popularity speaks volumes. Speculating on a potential second season, the earliest release date could be in late 2024 or early 2025, pending updates in the next year. There’s still plenty of material left to cover, and the series hasn’t officially been canceled so that definitely amounts to something.
Ao Ashi Season 2 doesn’t have trailer yet

This is because we do not know whether there will even be a second season of the show, which means that a trailer might not appear. But, based on our information, this does not seem like a likely outcome.
As we have said, Ao Ashi is a very likely candidate for a return. The anime has received acclaim from both professional skaters and the otaku community, and is very popular, with the manga still being published. After that, we have to wait and see whether there are actual plans for a continuation before making a proper prediction.
